Description:

A female eye doctor gets on a plane to Milan for an academic conference. A male film director also gets on the same plane. He is invited to be a judge at the Torino Film Festival. The two were in passionate love in the past, and are now in their middle ages. After their chance encounter in Torino, they travel around Tuscany together for a week, visiting galleries to see the works of Caravaggio. They find out they broke up because of a small misunderstanding. They also begin to notice they are hiding their own wounds from each other.
